Marlborough House is an enchanting Victorian guest house in the heart of Georgian Bath, and a short walk to all the major attractions that our world heritage city has to offer, such as the magnificent Royal Cresent, Famous Circus Building, Jane Austen Centre, Roman Baths, Abbey and the new Thermae Spas.
All our rooms are en-suite, spacious and unique. Furnished with elegant antiques, some with handsome four poster beds or Victorian brass/iron beds, remote control tv and direct dial bedside telephones.
An abundant hostess tray is provided which includes complementary sherry.
Breakfasts are generous, serving totally organic & vegetarian produce, such as delicate omlettes with savoury fillings & Marlborough House special breakfast potatoes with organic tomates & mushrooms. All our juices, yoghurts, jams and breads are organic too. And we have a wide variety of organic and herbal teas and coffees.
You will be guaranteed a warm welcome by Peter the owner, who was born in Bath, and has the inside knowledge when it comes to helping you wine and dine on the town. | |

Backing onto woodland, Infield House is beautifully restored Victorian townhouse lovingly appointed with period furnishings, portraits and decor.
It is conveniently located just a few minutes' walk from the city centre with all its shops and amenities and the magnificent Cathedral and Bishop's Palace.
Wells is a good touring centre for much of the South-West of England, including Bristol, Bath and as far as Salisbury. Set at the foot of the Mendip Hills, Wells itself is very picturesque. There is a comfortable guest lounge with bookcases well stocked with local and regional guides and as well as other reading material.
Infield House has a spacious private car park at the rear of the house.
Please note that it is a "no-smoking" guest house.

Each of the guest rooms (one twin and two doubles) features an original Victorian fireplace.
One has a luxurious en-suite bathroom, complete with bidet and spa-bath facility, which can be hired at a small extra charge.
The others each have an en-suite shower and WC. They are each provided with tea and coffee making facilities, colour TV, luggage rack, clock-radio, hair-dryer and individual central heating controls.
